As per the outcome at the 2017 Annual General Meeting of shareholders the grants have now been reinstated.

Ranginui 12 Trust offer the following grants:


Tangi Grants are available all year round for the passing of an owner.  Please see the policy below for more information.  There is no form to complete, instead, please contact the Trust Secretary on (07) 572 5955 and she will assist you with applying for this grant.


Discretionary Grants are available to tamariki and mokopuna of owners and/or to the owner themselves upon application to the trust.  There is no form to complete, interested parties are encouraged to apply in writing to the Board and provide any documentation to confirm the need for the grant.  Please contact the Trust Secretary on (07) 572 5955 for assistance with applying for this grant.


Ranginui 12 Trust Education Grants are now open and are provided to assist recipients to successfully undertake studies leading to NZQA recognised qualifications.  Applications are for shareholders and direct descendants of shareholders who are studying at Tertiary level.


Kaumātua Grants are for shareholders only aged 65 years and over.  

Kaumātua Grants open this year on Monday 20th August 2018 and must be returned by 4:00pm on Friday 2nd November 2018, for payment on the 20th November 2018. The application form is sent to all shareholders and can also be opened by clicking the green box to the right of this text.

Only NEW applicants need to complete an application form. If you received a Kaumātua Grant last year you do not need to re-apply.
